The SPR provides a safe and problem-free alternative to steam boilers for heating in oilfield applications. While boilers can corrode and present explosion hazards without regular maintenance, SPR technology offers even, continuous heat - without surfaces that can scale, or flame that can cause safety concerns.

The SPR eliminates excess water by directly heating fluids using shear heating. It heats any fluid without flame, and is, by definition, non-scaling heat. Instead of making steam and heating fluids with a heat
exchanger setup, fluid is pumped through the SPR Shockwave Power Reactor™(SPR) to “internally” heat the fluid. The SPR built into the SPR system only gets as hot as the fluid. The SPR will heat any type of fluid including crude oil, water, salt water, completion fluids, drilling muds, etc.

The Shockwave Power Reactor™(SPR) is the embedded technology in TSS reclamation technologies. The SPR evaporates water from any fluid. It works with clear completion fluids, oil muds and synthetic muds to eliminate excess water.
