Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE)

At Total Separation Solutions, we believe that the central difference between an industry leader and a struggling business lies with its people. We also believe our place in business is to provide Environmentally Responsible Technology where it can really make a difference: in the oil and gas industry. These two beliefs define the venerated status of the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) program at TSS and our fuel our desire to create a “zero defects”, safety-centered and environmentally responsible company culture.

QHSE Policy

It is our Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) policy to conduct all activities in a safe, secure and environmentally responsible manner. We recognize that conducting our operations in this manner not only makes good business sense, but is the right thing to do. Accordingly, TSS will:
 

•	maintain a systematic approach to QHSE management that is designed to ensure compliance with the law, as well as to achieve continued performance improvement;
•	set targets for improvement and measure, appraise and report on performance;
•	require contractors to manage QHSE in line with this policy; and
•	include QHSE performance in the appraisal of all staff and reward accordingly.

QHSE Principles

For TSS, acting in a safe, secure and environmentally responsible manner means operating under the following principles:
 

•	pursue the goal of no harm to people and the environment;
•	manage QHSE matters as any other critical business activity with “fit-for-purpose” systems and processes;
•	hold our management accountable for QHSE performance and, as necessary, will make available trained and competent QHSE resources to support these efforts;
•	strive to instill a lasting QHSE “zero defects” culture across our organization;
•	assure procedures are in place to properly respond to, manage, minimize and report the impact of any QHSE crisis, incident or emergency; and
•	promote practices that establish a secure business environment, ensure the safety of employees and contractors, produces “fit for purpose” products / services, as well as safeguard the organization’s integ-rity and reputation.

QHSE Management System

Through implementation of the TSS - QHSE Policy and Principles, it is our
intent to be recognized by our customers, employees and stakeholders as a responsible business committed to
QHSE stewardship.

To satisfy our QHSE policy, principles, rules and stakeholders obligations, TSS has established its own “fit-for-purpose” QHSE management system (QHSE MS) based on a “Plan, Perform, Measure, Improve” model. This approach
addresses how we manage QHSE within
Total Separation Solutions, LLC.
